Veterans Legal

Services

Canadian Veterans Legal Services promotes self-sufficiency, stability, and financial security for Canadian Armed Forces veterans through comprehensive and accessible legal services. CVLS’s unique model of delivering services on-site at homeless shelters and service centers allows it to reach veterans who would otherwise go without the legal help they need.

 

Our partnerships with shelters, courts, and supportive services providers enable CVLS to make legal services accessible and collaborate with other professionals, ensuring the best chance of veteran success.

About Me

Major Kashmeel D McKöena

Major Kashmeel McKöena (retired) spent several years as a Military lawyer with the Office of Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2012, Major McKöena retired from the JAG and entered private practice with McKöena Professional Law Corporation. Since then Major McKöena has built a well established practice that has helped veterans overcome their legal challenges.
