The Chief of the Defence Staff, General Jonathan Vance, signed the Order to formally commence Operation Honour, a concerted effort to combat harmful and inappropriate sexual behaviour in the Canadian Armed Forces, on Aug. 14 at National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa.
Also present were (left to right): Brigadier General Steve Whelan, Acting Chief of Military Personnel; Chief Warrant Officer Helen Wheeler, CAF Strategic Response Team on Sexual Misconduct Chief Warrant Officer; Colonel Gisele Fontaine, Deputy Commander CAF Strategic Response Team on Sexual Misconduct; and Chief Petty Officer First Class Geoffrey Mctigue, Acting Canadian Forces Chief Warrant Officer.
